Joshua Sivarajah gave up his house and many of his possessions to cycle around the UK with his dog Nero and after the first couple of weeks he knew this was how he wanted to live his life.
The journey around the UK saw them travel roughly 2,500 miles, as far south as Cornwall and as far north as the Outer Hebrides. Along the way they spent most of their time wild camping, though at various points they were also blessed by the kindness of others and were taken in by people they met.
Initially Nero, a border collie, was going to run alongside the bike but after sustaining an injury plans changed. From then on, Nero simply sat atop the bags and panniers when they were on the road.
Since that journey the pair have also cycled from England to Portugal and, most recently, paddle boarded along the Danube River. Thankfully, they document all of their endeavours through social media, and it’s their Instagram account which particularly shines.
From being pictured on the bike to images of sunsets while paddle boarding on the Danube, this is one Instagram feed which will make you want to live a life outdoors. Oh, and did we mention that Nero is also unbelievably cute?
