This week’s Video of the Week is probably one of the most nerve racking video’s I’ve ever seen! The Balloon Highline is a short, 4 minute movie which shows the French air acrobats, the Skyliners, attempting to highline between two hot air balloons, it sounds too crazy to be true, but yeah, these guys are nuts and that’s what they tried to do!
There are no safety ropes and none of them have ever tried highlining between hot air balloons before so they’re venturing into untested realms, if they fall there’s a couple hundred meters of air beneath them, fortunately they’re wearing parachutes though!
I’ve often watched video’s of people highlining between two rock walls and been amazed by their ability, especially when they’re doing so without any safety ropes. To watch these guys try it on a rope between two hot air balloons is just insane and this is definitely one of the most exciting adventure films I’ve ever seen.
