Every year, thousands of amateur cyclists descend on Megève, a French town set deep in the Alps. Here, they’ll start an incredible 500 mile journey to Nice. One that’ll take seven days and include a staggering 21,000m of elevation.

The Haute Route Alps proudly calls itself the ‘toughest amateur cycling race in the world.’ And when you watch highlights of the 2021 event, it’s easy to see why!
