Professional skier Nicolas Vuignier has produced what must be one of the most original action videos we’ve seen in a while by swinging his iPhone 6 around his head as he hits the slopes.
The video, titled ‘Centriphone – an iPhone video experiment by Nicolas Vuignier’, was filmed entirely by the smartphone which was swung around by some string and it has amassed over 3,000,000 views on YouTube.
Remarkably, the footage from the experiment is actually really impressive, offering a stunning, 360 degree view of Vuignier as he skis with several slow motion segments also featuring.
What is perhaps even more impressive is the fact that while swinging the phone around his head, Vuignier was still able to perform a few tricks and jumps.
The video comes at an interesting time as the drone market takes off and action camera companies explore the possibility of 360 recording.
