Everest Base Camp trek

Want to win a trip to Everest Base Camp worth £1,085?

Visiting Everest Base Camp is one of those experiences that seems to be on the bucket list of all who enjoy the great outdoors – no surprises there.

Over the years, Mount Everest has captured the imaginations of thousands, if not millions of people. So whilst you might not be up for an attempt at its summit, the prospect of stepping into Base Camp surrounded by some of the world’s highest mountains is not one to be sniffed at.

Trekking to Everest Base Camp

With that said, we’ve teamed up with Intrepid Travel to offer one lucky person the chance to win an Everest Base Camp trip, including flights.

The trip is made up of a strenuous 12-day hike at altitudes reaching over 5,500m, with up to eight hours of trekking each day. There’s no hiding it’s a challenging experience, but it’s also the adventure of a lifetime.

A handful of the highlights (it’s hard to narrow it down as there are so many) include seeing the magnificent Himalayas from the sky on the flight to Lukla, exploring beautiful valleys and of courses stepping into Base Camp itself, a place of such excitement and history.
