Want to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours? It’s no easy task, but with our 12 week training plan you’ll certainly improve your chances.
Our 12 week training plan for the 24 hour Three Peaks Challenge has been developed by students from the BSc Personal Training course at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and is designed to enable you to complete the workouts with only your own bodyweight or things you can find around you.
For more information about the theory behind the workout, check out the plan from week one.
It’s also worth remembering that what you see below is just a guide, so if you need to alter it to fit around your own personal lifestyle requirements, that’s not a problem. Below you will find the plan for week seven.
How to perform the bodyweight circuit
Tips for success: First aid
Every member of the party should carry a pack with basic first aid provisions for minor injuries such as scratches and blisters. This should include plasters, whistle, sanitary items and sun cream.
Any personal medication needed for participants should be carried with the first aid kit, e.g. asthmatic should carry their pump.
