These four hikers from France were given the shock of their lives when they were trekking in Te Urewera National Park on New Zealand’s North Island. The group were carrying heavy packs as they crossed the Hopuruahine bridge ‒ designed to hold the weight of 10 people ‒ only to be violently thrown into the river below when the bridge collapsed.
