Rope swings were always brilliant fun as a kid, and they’re just as enjoyable as an adult.
Whether it was a tattered rope tied to a tree over a river or a professional swing at an activity centre, there’s just a visceral joy about throwing yourself into the care of gravity with nothing more than a rope keeping you from ground zero.
Well, if you thought the shabby rope swing from your childhood was scary, wait until you get a load of this.
The video (below) comes from YouTube extraordinaire Devin Graham and showcases people launching themselves off of the clifftop while attached to a 400ft freefall pendulum rope swing between a slot canyon in America.
