To climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours is no easy task, but it’s certainly a rewarding one. To help you in your attempt to complete the UK Three Peaks Challenge we’ve created a 12 week training schedule.
Designed by students from the BSc Personal Training course at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, the plan has been developed so that all you need to complete it is your own body weight and things you can find around the house.
To find a more detailed outline of the theory behind the plan, check out week one.
Remember, the below is just a guide, so if you need to alter it slightly to fit in around your own personal requirements, that’s not a problem. Below you will find all you need to complete week nine.

Tips for success: Pick a designated driver
Your best bet would be to get a designated driver for the day as there is roughly 10 hours of driving. Everyone taking on the challenge will want to sleep and rest during the drive, so bring someone extra along and you’ll improve your chance of success.
