Sky runner, ski mountaineer, and all-round long-distance athlete Kilian Jornet is a natural phenomenon. The Catalan ultra-runner has made records across the globe for running extreme distances in eye-wateringly quick times, and this video of him training shows how he makes it happen.
It captures him running along perilously thin ridges, high up in the mountains of Åndalsnes, Norway. Happily for us mere mortals back on terra firma, the GoPro attached to his head helps to show just what he’s facing, including the staggering drops on either side as he hops and scrambles over boulders and rocky steps.
This is an incredible insight into the bravery and skill of this super human. Watch the full video below:
